As Green Bay’s Smile Maker, Dr. Chad and the team at Fox View Dental were once again thrilled to support the Diamonds & Denim Event for another year. The 5th annual event raised funds for Project Redbird, Dr. Chad’s De Pere alma mater high school. Project Redbird began four years ago and aims to upgrade technology and to improve the outdoor athletics facilities of local area schools.
Investing in Our Children’s Futures
As a health professional, Dr. Chad is committed to his local community and is a dedicated supporter of many De Pere events. He is a former Redbird football and track and field star, and Project Redbird is a cause that is very close to Dr. Chad’s heart, so he always appreciates the opportunity to give back.
Fox View Dental is proud to be part of the support that will allow Project Redbird to:
- install the field turf at the De Pere High School stadium
- construct a new soccer stadium
- add a new baseball field
- provide Chrome-books & iPads for all K-6th grade students
- add new audiovisual systems for middle and high school classrooms
- add upgrades to the softball field’s irrigation system and middle school practice field
It’s an incredible achievement in such a short period of time, and many of these accomplishments are due to the Diamonds & Denim Event.
An Unmissable Event
This year celebrated the fifth and final year of Diamonds & Denim on Friday, April 13th at the Swan Club. Fox View Dental attended as a team. Dr. Chad Yenchesky and Cherie Yenchesky along with their friends, Erik and Martha Salitan, provided an Alaskan fishing trip as their donation.
The prize included a fishing trip and a wonderful opportunity to experience the real beauty of Alaska. The lucky winner will have the chance to stay at Talarik Creek Lodge(link), a premier sports fishing lodge. The lodge is nestled on the shores of picturesque lake Iliamna, offering unrestricted views of the Aleutian Range.
The fully guided trip is to be taken this summer in the world-famous Bristol Bay Watershed, a region known for Grayling, Arctic Char, Rainbow Trout, Salmon, Lake Trout and Pike. Lake Iliamna is close to Katmai National Park, Lake Clark National Park and the McNeil River State Game Sanctuary and Refuge, an area renowned for having the highest brown and grizzly bear population in the world. Guests visiting the Lodge have the exceptional opportunity for bear viewing and photography, making this the trip of a lifetime worth $5,500.
Fox View Dental’s Green Bay Packer Ticket Donation
As a well-known supporter, avid fan, and season ticket holder of our Green Bay Packers, Dr. Chad made an additional donation and gave the attendees of the Diamond and Denim event the opportunity to win regular season Green Bay Packer game tickets. Approximately 40 event supporters tried their luck and took on the challenge of competing in a game of “Heads or Tails” with six rounds of elimination to determine the winner.
We are thankful to all those who worked so hard with the Diamonds and Denim event over the past five years to make a difference for our community’s schools and kids.
