The first step in your initial visit to Fox View Dental is the patient interview. Our patient coordinator will discuss your dental and medical history with you over the phone, giving Dr. Yenchesky a better understanding of your oral health needs.
Our dental team will ask various questions about your oral and overall health, including:

- Ongoing or past medical conditions
- Past dental work
- Medication history
- Family health history
- Oral hygiene habits
You should come to your appointment prepared to answer these questions for yourself and your children, as it’ll provide a more accurate picture for our dental team.
On the day of your appointment, you should arrive 15 minutes early to review your information with us, provide insurance details, and tour our De Pere dental office. You’ll meet our dental professionals who assist Dr. Yenchesky while you explore the technology in our office.
Once you’ve seen our office and met our team, your patient coordinator will use our intraoral camera and CBCT scanner to take 3D images of your teeth and jaw. These photos and x-rays help Dr. Yenchesky find any underlying dental issues that may not be visible on the surface. The scans we take will also provide a baseline for your future visits, giving our staff a better idea of your overall oral health.
Now that we’ve taken digital scans of your mouth and teeth, we’ll move on to the dental cleaning and exam portion of your first visit to our De Pere dental office. One of our dental professionals will brush and floss your teeth using a specially designed electric toothbrush, removing plaque and tartar from the surfaces of your teeth. We’ll also use dental tools to remove tartar buildup from your teeth and gums that a toothbrush and floss normally can’t reach.
Once your teeth are clean, Dr. Yechensky will review your oral scans before performing an oral exam of your gums, lips, cheeks, tongue, and teeth. Your exam allows our top De Pere dentist to suggest necessary treatments and acquaints him with your oral health needs.
Your oral exam and digital scans give Dr. Yechensky the opportunity to create a treatment plan for your future visits. If there are any threats to your oral health, we’ll diagnose the problem before deciding how best to rejuvenate your dental wellness.
